Biography:

James grew up in the Hutt Valley and attended secondary school at Upper Hutt College.

He attended Otago University and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in History. James completed his Professionals in Wellington and was admitted to the Bar in June 2007.

James enjoys playing a range of sports and is currently a member of the Upper Hutt Hockey Club.
