Biography:

Penny was born in China and came to New Zealand when she was 14 years old. She studied as an international student at Logan Park High School in Dunedin for 5 years and then went on to study law at Otago University.

In 2005, she moved to Wellington and in 2006 she completed her law degree at Victoria University. In 2008 she completed her Professional studies and was admitted to the Bar.

Penny is a friendly individual who enjoys associating with people of different ages and backgrounds. She speaks Mandarin and Cantonese fluently and returns regularly to China to spend time with her family.

Since completing her professional studies, Penny has enjoyed working for Avison Reid Lawyers under the supervision of Rebecca Dickie, and the other four Partners of the Firm.
